Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><P><SPAN>This dataset provides a digital geospatial representation of regulated facility outfalls using data derived from various source data. The process by which this data set has been developed has been guided by Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) and is the result of multiple geoprocesses. It is important to note that point locations are approximate and many do not represent exact geographic locations of outfalls, rather the parcel that they are located in. It is also important to note that in some cases, due to the way the data was processed, outfalls and facilities may have the same coordinates, leading to points being stacked.</SPAN></P></DIV>

Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P STYLE="margin:0 0 0 0;"><SPAN>This feature class describes properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, classified as historic objects, and depicted as points. The National Register of Historic Places requires the submission of a single UTM coordinate pair for properties under 10 acres. An object is a feature that is primarily artistic in nature or is relatively small in scale and simply constructed. Although an object may be, by nature or design moveable, an object is associated with a specific setting or environment. Objects include: sculpture, monuments, boundary markers, statuary and fountains. Attribute data in this dataset are intentionally limited to those necessary for spatial data maintenance and feature level metadata necessary to document the lineage of the geography itself. Data from external database systems, such as the National Register Information System, are intended to link with these data to provide basic feature attributes. The means to maintain unique identifiers for each historic site (CR_ID), Survey_ID, as well as unique geometries associated with that feature (Geometry_ID) are through the use of Globally Unique Identifiers (GUIDs) assigned by the database. Information about the genesis of individual points is documented by feature level metadata fields in the spatial attribute table.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>

Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;font-size:12pt"><P><SPAN>Stormwater Management Facilities (SWMFAC) are structural best management practices that temporarily store or treat stormwater runoff to reduce flooding, remove pollutants, and provide other amenities. Stormwater BMPs are impoundment areas that treat stormwater runoff to reduce flooding, remove pollutants, and provide other benefits such as wildlife attraction. Pollutant removal can be accomplished through retaining permanent pools of water, detaining water temporarily and then releasing it slowly, infiltrating runoff into the ground, filtering the water through a medium into the ground, or combining multiple treatments. Stormwater management facilities are represented as polygons in the database.</SPAN></P></DIV>
